How to install seat covers
■ Headrest Installation Section
For seat back covers with a hole for headrest installation, cover the seat back and pass the headrest insertion through the hole. Refer to steps 3 and 4 below.
For types that require hole punching, refer to the steps below to create the hole.
[Hole Punching Procedure]
- Confirm the hole position on the covered state and make an incision in the cover. (See Figure 1)
-
Make the cut round to prevent tearing. (See Figure 2)
* Make the hole only as large as necessary to hide the cut with the insertion edge (approximately the diameter of the headrest shaft). -
Pull the headrest insertion through the hole by shifting it from the corner. (See Figure 3)
* Be careful not to apply excessive force as it may tear the cover. - Once the insertion has passed through, adjust the cover to its proper position. (See Figure 4)
■ Armrest Installation Section
For seat back covers with a pre-made hole for armrest installation, cover with the armrest attached. If not pre-made, remove the armrest from the seat, cover, and confirm the hole position before punching the hole.
* Make the hole only as large as necessary.
■ Seat Back Cover
Remove the headrest from the seat, cover the seat back, and install according to each method. Be mindful of the seat's movements such as reclining or sliding. Depending on the cover type, hole punching or armrest removal may be necessary.
■ Convenience Hook
For seat back covers without a hole for a convenience hook, remove the hook from the seat, cover, and confirm the hole position before punching the hole.
* Make the hole only as large as necessary.
* Fixing methods may vary depending on the vehicle type.
■ Back Table
[Velcro Type]
Attach adhesive velcro to the table edge to secure the cover.
* Remove any oil from the attachment area beforehand.
[Insert Type]
Insert the cover into the table edge using a spatula or similar tool.
* Use a soft plastic tool to avoid damaging the cover.
